Since grad school, Cris has been developing and commercializing III-N materials and devices. From all levels of business, he is an experienced and proven expert in innovating products for both large and small enterprises. Starting with the LED revolution at CREE, UVC LEDS and substrates at Nitride Solutions, and GaN-based power electronics at Kyma, Cris is a proven expert in developing and innovating most applications that III-N materials have to offer. He has two undergraduate degrees in math and physics from Bethany college, and a Ph.D in materials science at Kansas State University.

Allen brings over three decades of expertise to Alithia having dedicated his career to the development and commercialization of compound semiconductor technologies. He is a recognized innovator in the field with more than 25 US patents and numerous publications to his name. Through his time at M/A-COM, Nitronex and II-VI (Coherent), Allen has a proven track record of product and process development and integration. Allen holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he pioneered the development of InGaP/GaAs Heterojunction Bipolar Transistors – a technology that to this day remains a mainstream enabler for modern mobile communications.

Wayne Johnson is a strategic advisor to the semiconductor industry. He has co-authored 2 book chapters, >200 journal articles and conference presentations, and he holds 20 U.S. patents in the area of compound semiconductor materials and devices.

David Bour has worked in compound semiconductor materials and devices for 40 years. As an expert in MOCVD and several other growth methods, Dave is a leading expert in commercializing new opportunities at both the R&D and manufacturing stages. He is currently Director of Hardware Engineering at Google, and formerly was senior VP at Avogy. David is a Fellow of IEEE, holds 150+ US patents, has a BS in Physics from MIT, and PhD EE from Cornell University.

Chris has over 30 years experience in Silicon-based and GaN-based power electronics. He has extensive experience in the device side of power electronics from working at Texas Instruments and Nitronex, as well as the system developer experience at Nujira and NewEdge Signal Solutions. He has a broad understanding of the market as well as hands on experience in pioneering early semiconductor materials. Chris has a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from the university of Notre Dame.
